Yeah, they can be kind of a pain at times. That said, there are also some good folks over there trying to do the best work they can within the constraints they are given.

I have a couple friends in the FAA who are outstanding individuals. I have the upmost respect. Its mostly all the bureaucracy that gets in the way.

My father works in the FAA, he is beginning to get pissed off at how retarded and lazy a lot of people are...

He was actually told to stop working so hard when he first started. (Retired Air Force fighter pilot)

Pretty much. You do run into folks, just like anywhere that has authority, who let it go to their heads. 95% of the rest are cool.
